Yxtaholm Castle is situated on an island in one of Sörmland’s most naturally beautiful areas. It is a place to which people have come over many years for reflection and spiritual renewal.
The castle, stables and wings were built in their present form in 1753 but the first written reference to a residence on the site is in a will from 1329. Yxtaholm first began to flourish in the 17th century and today it is a modern hotel, restaurant and conference centre, characterised by personal, thoughtful service and beautifully set off by its magnificent surroundings.
